Collection: 2024 Brown Bag Mystery - Piece of Cake
Country Stitches is participating in the Brown Bag Mystery this year again! We are having fun selecting fabrics for this year’s “Piece of Cake” Mystery Quilt designed by Karen Montgomery. We can start selling February 1st.
It’s a true Mystery. The fabric “peeking” out of each bag is the feature fabric and the only fabric you can see. The other fabrics coordinate with the feature fabric. One “Clue” is revealed every 2 weeks starting mid March. Clues can be picked up or mailed. The clues keep you guessing until the very end!
The pattern is easy enough for a “Confident Beginner”.

Join the Private Facebook group after you purchase a kit. Karen will post a virtual class in the private Facebook group for each “Clue” starting Mid-March and every 2 weeks after that. She will also share “Bonus” projects before then. It’s a great place to meet new friends and share ideas with other quilters.
We will have a coordinating border kit for each Brown Bag Mystery kit. Must be purchased with the Brown Bag Kit. Kits will start selling February 1st. Call us at 517-351-2416 ext 3 or email us at countrystitchesquiltshop@gmail.com and we will put you on our Brown Bag Mystery list. On February 1st we will email you a list of kits with pictures of the “Feature” fabrics. Order right away to be sure you get the kit or kits you want. The Border Kit must be purchased at the same time as the Brown Bag to ensure the border coordinates perfectly with your quilt.
